HI i miss drawing. i don't do it at all anymore because my parents and school have squashed it out of me.

so i came back to the art community just to see what's been happening and things, and apparently there's this new fad (or not new, i wouldn't know) of hating on people who draw what are now called "sparkledogs"... really? i'm probably really behind in the rants about this, but i don't understand why people continue to flip a shit about peoples' personal drawing preferences. so WHAT if people like to make canine characters with pretty designs? sure, some aren't original but people like drawing what they're comfortable drawing! i've seen some really horrible flaming going on and i really don't see why it's necessary to be so fucking rude. are sparkledogs offensive???

in other news, my tablet has died for good since my little brother was born; he destroyed the pen and tore out the wire somehow. i'm not getting one for a while because i don't have the money for one and my parents are tight about spending any money on anything for me because i don't deserve it apparently. on the bright side, i'm starting work next week so that shouldn't be a problem. i'm currently saving up money to have a birthday party because i don't deserve that either...
also, i joined subeta a few months back so i might be getting back into the art scene in terms of COMMISSIONS but my digital art will strictly feature shitty adobe-pen-tool use xD;;; YEP.

YEAH SO, there you go.

i'm going to install my tablet to the laptop sometime during today, hopefully.
